KOS

Benim icin en güzel Yunan adasından birisi Kos. Güzel kumsalları, merkeze yakın otelleri, dar birbirini kesen güzel sokakları ile hele de Kos Aktris te kalırsam benden en güzel ada ünvanını alır.

One of the best Greek Island for me is Kos Island. With the nice beaches, good hotels which are close to the town center, and long, narrow roads for shopping.....

Kos'a Türkiye'den en rahat ulasım Bodrum'dan. Sabah limana gidip hemen bilet alıp tekne ile 1.5 -2 saatte Kos adasına ulasabiliyorsunuz.

You can easily go to Kos from Bodrum port. Turkey by ferries. It takes about 1.5-2 hour to reach to Kos port.

Limandan inince hemen sizi sehir merkezi karsılıyor, sahilde kafeler, marketler, restaurant..... İc tarafa dogru yürüdükce sehir merkezindeki buyuk meydanı, dükkanları restaurantları gorebiliyorsunuz. Oldukca uzun bir alısveris caddesi var ki bu caddeyi kesen onlarca sokaktan hic bahsetmiyorum bile :)
When you get on the ferry you can directly see the town center infront of you. When you walk through the inside you can see lots of restaurants, cafe's and many shops there....

İlk gittigimizde merkeze 15-20 dakika yürüme mesafesinde olan bir mini pansiyon otel secmistik, bu sefer ise Kos'un muhtemelen en sık ve yeni oteli Kos Aktris'i tercih ettik. Limanın hemen solunda 5 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindeki otel, hem güzel,  hem yeni, hemde  merkeze 5 dakika yürüme mesafesinde denize sıfır bir otel.

In our first trip we select a small pansion hotel , we can go to the center by walk about 15-20min. In our second trip we prefer to stay one of the best , new and elegant hotel in Kos, Kos Aktris hotel. which one is located near the seaside. Also 5 min. to close to the town center about 5 min. by walk.

Tabi Yunan adası olur da denizi güzel olmaz,  nefis plajlar yine burada.Merkeze en yakın plaj, yürüyerek de gidebilecegiz Lambi. Bir cok barın yan yana dizildigi onlerindeki sezlonglardan yararlanabileceginiz bir plaj. Barlarda calan hafif müzik, kalabalık ile de daha eglenceli bir ortam arayan icin ideal bir plaj. Sezlong kirası yok bardan birseyler icmeniz ve ya yemeniz sezlongdan yararlanmanız icin kafi. Hatta oyle bir zorunluluk bile olmayabilir. Yine tercih edilen, kalabalık ama yine de insanların üstüste olmadıgı güzel plajları isterseniz adanın kuzeyindeki, Tigaki, Marmari ve Mastichari'yi tercih edebilirsiniz. Biz araba kiralamıstık ama sanırım bu plajlara sahil merkezden otobusler kalkıyordu.

If you go an Greek Island, you can see that there are lots of nice golden beaches and nice water. The closest beach is in Lambi, you can reach there by walk from the center. Many bars, are located in front of the sea, and you are not paying extra cost for the sun beds and umbrella.

For the closest beaches you can go to Tigaki, Marmari and Mastichari by bus .

Adanın en güzel plajları Kardemena ve Kefalos bolgesinde, Paradise, Sunny ve benim 1 numaram Magic beach. Sessizlik deniz kum günes bana yeter diyorsanız benim gibi, Bu 2 bolge tam size göre....

My favorites beaches in the İsland are in Kardemena and Kefalos.  Paradise, Sunny and Magic Beach which was my favorite ... If you prefer; silence sea, golden beach and just sun like me , you like these places.

Tıp biliminin babası Hipokratın dogdugu yer olan adada, Hipokrat'ın dallarının altında ogencilerini calıstırdıgı iddia edilen Hipokrat agacı var. Daha sonraki arastırmalarda agacın yasının sadece 560 oldugu bunun mumkun olmadıgı soylense de , halen hipokrat agacı olarak bilinmekte.

Adada görebileceginiz bir cok tarihi eser de var, Casa Romana, Ancient Agora(Pazar yeri) , limanın hemen onundeki Neratzia Kalesi bunlardan bir kacı sadece.

Kos is the Island that, -father of the medical- Hippocrates was born.  You can see an old tree that named of Hippocrates tree ( The legend say that Hippocrates work with their students under this tree). But as I said it was a legend because the tree just 560 years old. But it’s enough reason to see this tree.

There are so many antic places that you can visit, Casa Romana, Ancient Angora and Neratzia Castle.

Yemeklerden sonra ise benim tavsiyem,her türlü dükkanın, kafenin,barın, dondurmacının bir arada bulundugu nefis sokaklarında gezin, tozun ve kaybolun. :)

You can spend your time in town center or in Kefalos. There are so many restaurant. You can eat see foods, with big plates and good prices.

After that you can lost yourself in the road in the town. :)
